I am writing to inform you of a significant change in my professional journey. While I have truly loved working at Quality Kids Kare for the last 10 years, I have decided to leave my position as a primary care provider at Quality Kids Kare, and take a position as an urgent care provider in Worcester.
My last day at Quality Kids Kare, PC will be December 25, 2024. I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for the trust and support you have shown me throughout our time together. It has been a privilege to be a part of your child’s healthcare journey, and I deeply value the relationships we have built.
To ensure a smooth transition and continued care, I recommend that you schedule an appointment with one of my esteemed colleagues, Shay Darcey, NP, Kate Wolf, NP or Sarah Logan, NP who will be starting in September 10th. They are well-informed about your medical history and are committed to providing the high standard of care that you deserve.
If you need assistance with transferring your medical records or have any questions about your ongoing care, please do not hesitate to reach out.
For those who may need urgent care services in the future, I will be joining ReadyMeds Urgent care facility at 366 Shrewsbury St, Worcester starting January 1, 2025.
Thank you once again for allowing me to be a part of your healthcare team. I look forward to staying connected and wish you continued health and well-being.

Sarah completed her undergraduate education at Bates College. She began her career researching the developing respiratory system and brain, specifically environmental, gestational, and pharmacological triggers that lead to adverse neurophysiological consequences in the perinatal period persisting to adulthood. After completing her PhD and post-doctoral studies at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Sarah returned to school to become a nurse and pediatric nurse practitioner at Yale University, where she participated in community research and tutoring while completing her studies.
Sarah's nursing career has consisted of working in pediatric acute and critical care in the intensive care unit at Boston Children's Hospital, Franciscan Children's Hospital, and in-home care for a former patient. In addition to working as a clinician and in research, one of Sarah's proudest accomplishments is serving as a short-term medical missionary, providing medical care for underserved populations throughout the world. Sarah is also passionate about teaching health sciences at a collegiate level and mentoring in all professional areas. She hopes to continue to combine her love of being a provider, research, and teaching throughout her career. Sarah seeks to help her patients promote a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention through the education of patients and their families, and she relies on scientific evidence when treating her patients.
When not at work or on medical mission trips, Sarah enjoys a full life of travel and exploring, hiking, playing hockey, working towards running a marathon in every state, off-roading, and spending time by the ocean and in the mountains with her beloved dog. When she does find time to sit still, she relaxes by reading or baking for her friends and coworkers.
Sarah will be working Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9 am-5 pm. She will also be accepting new patients.
